Ok so I have been gone for three days... what has happend??? Much, let me assure you!!!
Lets start with Friday night... The Phillies won big 12-5... and my hope for a playoff season soared... Got a call from wonderful Elle on way to the SETC Auditions with the elegant Sarah Dewey. I hope you guys killed them.
SAturday I worked all day at the Aquarium.not very entertaining but I enjoyed enlightening people about the aquatic life we hold there. While there got a call from that Audition for "demo/CD recording" that had the whole Busted Pirate Ship feel to it. they want me.. and I said yes.. because at this point I will get some experience in a recording studio and have my name attached to a workshop of some sort. Then I worked the Phillies Game.. They lost a heartbreaker 7-6. Truly I was about to cry at the ballpark.I have never felt so bad about the Phillies. Came home and talked to friends online.. as well as ordered the tickets for my Birthday Bash in Philly. SO the Tickets are set WE are seeing Bad Hair's Fringetastic Sketchtacular 2: Sequelpalooza!!! and I have heard some great things from my friend Jason who is part of Bad Hair.
Today I worked again at the AQ and was somewhat amused all day long.. the best part of the day was when I heard an old Grandmother type start cursing out loud because and African Abdim Stork took a dump on her... im sorry but it is clear judging by the color of the cement ounder the Baobab tree that this was not a one time occurrence for these birds who like to sit in said tree. And boy did she swear like a sailor. that made me laugh... alot... also thought alot about McDrinking: the musical today... as well as trying to cast (in my mind) Tick, Tick... Boom with people i have performed with in the past. I had 2 choices for the part of susan... although I was wishy washy on on of my choices. and I want to play Jonathan myself... although I think i can put a couple other people in there... but I really got stuck on the part of Michael, the best friend ... and I really couldn't think of anyone.. which is why it would be hard for me to say "lets do this" for StageOutlaw Productions. I would have to trust that someone would come out of the woodwork for that one part. Then I came home and enjoyed an evening at home with Jean and Kyra. Kyra is getting a little harder these days, she likes the word "no" alot. I also found a monologue to use for film class. From "The Majestic"...one of the best Jim Carrey films made. now I just have to write it down and memorize it front to back before Tuesday night.
and so to bed.
tomorrow is another day.
